If you do not know how to get the Wind-up Sun Minion, then head over to Western La Noscea and head over to the Magic Pot NPC.
Magic Pot Coordinates - (X: 12.0, Y: 36.8)
Trade the NPC an Elixir in order to get the minion.
If you want to also get the Wind-up Moon minion from this NPC, then bring a Hi-Elixir and trade it for the Wind-up Moon minion.

scherana for the [Moon] [Ears] Goomiho with some magic for ALL Ear Mod.
