Most reapers have a strictly transactional relationship with their avatar. They provide blood and soul essence, and are aided in kind during battle. Some reapers, however, forge a mutual trust with their voidsent that even death can't quell. Companion voidsent of such a bond are eager to assist in battle at little to no "cost" beyond allowing them to explore this new aether-rich world.

By the twelve its finally done. This replaces the companion chocobo that follows you in the overworld. It may not look like it, but this was probably the hardest mod I've ever made. Consider the ko-fi tip jar ; - ;
It includes my Mortaeus variants of the Avatar, as well. This mod should make your chocobos barding invisible, but DT bardings and some other ones may still not be supported yet. There may be some jank with the animations, I did what I could with my experience and what we have for the Avatar.
SortofArbitrary's Forgiven Reaper is also supported, however keep in mind you will need both that mod and a fitting enshroud mod.
FOR PENUMBRA INSTALLS: I recommend setting up a collection for your chocobo in order to see the passive vfx. Sound design work may need to be activated in the default collection, just toggle everything else off there.
