Mashup of my Mikitten All Ears options and the Night of Devilry Horns on item installs. This was made for the purpose of allowing a second head item or earrings since All Ears options are item installs rather than tail installs.
The Night of Devilry Horns version will work out of the box with no extra installs but will monopolize your head slot. Will also hide vanilla ears on hair that does not have an earless version. Made to allow use of both head items with earrings.
The Demon Brick Earring version requires ear flap removers and earless hair but will only cost you your earring slot. You will need a tool like Glamourer to apply dyes to the horns. Made to allow use of both head items with other non-hat head items like corsages or glasses.
It is recommended to download the full Mikitten All Ears mod here: https://www.xivmodarchive.com/modid/98233. It contains the ear flap removers needed, C+ profiles for earrings, and all of the ear options without the horns for when you don't feel like being spooky.
Options Include:
Primary Hair Color
Highlight Color
Dark - Intended to match the darker colored tip on miqo'te tail 2. Sort of fills in for the black ears present on certain male miqo'te hairs but it will not be quite as dark and won't be spotty.
Split Dye - Primary hair color is on the right ear (left facing viewer), highlight color is on the left ear (right facing viewer).
Split Dye Inverse - Primary hair color is on the left ear (right facing viewer), highlight color is on the right ear (left facing viewer).
Options with highlight colors must have highlights enabled or the color will not show.
FAQ (And by FAQ I mean someone left a bug report about it.)
The Demon Brick Earring isn't in the game!
First off, yes it is. It was available from a previous Moogle Tomestome event. Second, I picked an obscure earring because Glamourer is already needed to dye it. Please just use Glamourer to equip it.
Known issues:
Ears "float" or have small gaps at the bottom with tighter hairstyles due to their positioning. Male characters are more likely to have this issue than females. Sorry boys.
This is admittedly not something I expect there to be much demand for so I don't have plans to make many of these. This mod served as my test run for some of TexTool's features and the modpack is tad messier than my usual as a result. Please let me know if you run into any issues.
