This project is completely free. It represents 3 months of progress, and about 200 hours of modding. It would mean the world to me if you would use the Pay-What-You-Want link if you like it after trying it out. If supporting me is against your preferences, I've attached two charities that I would be equally happy with getting the support.

This is a complete overhaul of Machinist, affecting all skills, job actions, Queen, and the limit break. It is themed around near-future infantry and tacticool aesthetics, and includes several optional files such as a drop pod respawn.
Currently the animations have issues on M!Roe/Hroth and to a lesser extent Lalafell, but they should work on all other races. I heavily encourage reading the README file for this mod, as the technical quirks I chose to make this mod more immersive (running and gunning without sliding) are not a solved science.

It is the Seventh Astral Era. After staving off Final Days, Sharlayan and Garlean engineers joined with the loporrits to explore the cosmos. This is an effort dedicated to peace. It sets aside banners and weapons, nations and creeds.
However peace does not mean the absence of defense. As the lunar colony grew, a defense program was greenlit, the Lunar Initiative. The scope of this contingency was narrow, only repurposing existing technology for combat in the event of a sudden attack. It quickly became evident that the inherent militarization the Initiative required ran directly against the peaceful exploration of the stars dreamed of by the cosmic exploration program. And so, just as quickly as development started, the Voidjumper program was terminated and shelved.
Yet the threats to the star have not vanished. Just the opposite. Calamitous events have become a commonplace, and one group of Machinists involved in the Lunar Initiative would not see their work go to waste. Together they formed the Palisade Arsenal, a cooperatively owned paramilitary company sworn to no state.
Be it suppressing megaflauna, securing harmful anomalous artifacts, or taking out key threats, their missions always prioritize the needs of the common man. Only those with the purest of intentions are able to make it past the Arsenal's selection process and be accepted onto the whitelist. Those who graduate their training program end up on the other side as Operators, elite marksmen capable of wielding a variety of technology to handle any situation thrown their way.
