MT E-IR-55 'Wild-Dog'

The E-IR-55 (Electrope Incendiary-Rifle model 55), given the nickname 'Wild-Dog' from the harsh recoil that kicks the user in the shoulder with each trigger pull. The 55 is a rifle that doesn't need much explanation of its function. It fires electrope projectiles that have been attuned with the same energy that causes rapid increases in temperature of other devices, like a stovetop, to a degree where it will set alight what it comes in contact with.

While the name does make it sound limited to just heated rounds, there have been offshoots of this platform that fire thunder-atuned rounds to stun targets, with middling success in the 'less than lethal' department.

This version has come packaged with a sight that has a magnifier attached, as well as an underbarrel laser sight. The rifle can, however, be brought down to just the ironsights.
