My new mod is finally released! This is probably my biggest and most complex project to date!
Bloodborne is actually my favorite FromSoftware game, and one of my favorite games of all time. When I discovered the Souls modding community and learned how to use many of its tools, such as AqualToolset, DeSBNDBuild, and especially the amazing Bloodborne Master Spreadsheet (by Sanadsk), I instantly knew I had to give this project a try.
GNB was my first choice for many reasons. The fact that it already uses a “gun”-type weapon (which could actually be considered a trick weapon now that I think about it lol) and its continuation combo were the deciding factors.
This mod features 10+ different trick weapons and hunter tools, as well as many, many more references to Bloodborne (can you spot them all?). I could definitely expand this concept to different jobs in the future. Not only are there many weapons I didn’t use, but there are also other FFXIV jobs that I think would fit a Bloodborne-inspired project perfectly. Who knows!
The reason a X weapon wasn’t featured is simply because there weren’t enough skills in GNB’s rotation to fit them all lol. I also plan to add more weapons to the eventual new skills SE gives GNB with the 8.0 level cap increase, so stay tuned for that.
I really hope you guys enjoy it and can feel the passion I have for Bloodborne through this modpack!
