Glaistig is a mod for vanilla-style digitigrade hooves, placed on the shoes slot. I'm homebrewing an ungulate humanoid race for another reflection and wanted a vanilla-adjacent option, so I yoinked the back legs from the Starlight Steed mount and finagled them to fit the player legs. These are cloven hooves with two toes and two small dew claws, so they're more suited for artiodactyl-based characters, such as deer, goats, or sheep.
Works for all Midlander-based talls (ie no M Roe or Hroth, no F or M Lala). Placed on the Wolfliege and Wolfseye Thighboots.
As these are thighboot style shoes, they will tuck any pants into the fur at the top. These are sized for vanilla- or vanilla-adjacent legs, so any modded bodies with thicker thighs will not fit properly with them and will require a refit. I honestly don't enjoy the process of refitting vanilla-style meshes to modded bodies solely due to the difference in topography, so I probably won't be making any refits myself, but you are free to if you're up for it.
I included four different simple options for the fur color on these:
-An option for the fur to dye with hair color
-An option for the fur to dye with gear dyes
-An option for the fur to have the same coloration as the Starlight Steed
-An option for plain white fur and black hooves
For the gear dye option, the fur dyes with dye slot 1, and the hooves & dew claws dye with dye slot 2. The hooves on the hair color option just dye as a darker version of the hair color, due to restraints with the mesh and the hair shader.
I don't have much experience with digitigrade legs but I tried my best with the weights. I think they came out alright, if a tiny bit crunchy just due to the tri count on vanilla models, which I'd personally rather keep low just because I prefer adhering to vanilla aesthetics. These are sitting at just over 1,500 tris total, and about a third of that is just in the knee area to allow for smoother deformation.
Anyways, same as always, please feel free to make edits, resizes, recolors, etc etc but please do take a look at my permissions first. Thanks!
