About β
Hair Defined 2 is a full remake that follows the philosophy of the original work on Hair Defined.
The goal is to offer the best clarity and definition for the Player's Hair available in-game,
while preserving the original aesthetic and design of the game.
β Features β
x4 Universal upscale in resolution designed for 1440p & 4K.*
950+ Upgraded player hair textures
Tails for Hrothgar & Miqote
Viera & Miqote Ears
All 8 races fully upgraded
β Details β
HD2 was made from scratch using SE's new Dawntrail textures, These new textures were complex enough to require a brand new method to be created for the defined upscales. As such however not only are these new upscales sharper, smoother, and cleaner but they also have the added benefit of improved lighting / shadowing from these upgrades.
In total, HD2 took over 440 hours to make with it's development starting at the beginning of July 2024.
